LADIES GOLF COACHING 2011
At Ashton Golf Centre ladies make up a large proportion of our customers. We offer a variety of packages for lady golfers from beginners groups through to private individual lesson programs. BEGINNERS GROUP LESSONS Our ideal pupil is someone who has never played golf before. If that’s you, then you will learn the correct technique right from the start. You will be amazed at how simple golf can be when you start correctly. Your lessons will be geared to getting you playing golf on the course in the shortest possible time. We offer courses throughout the week and you should be able to find a time to fit in with your lifestyle. You can come along either on your own and we will fit you into a group or you can come along with a friend or group of friends and we will be pleased to accommodate you. The group lesson format allows you to meet people and make friends as well as having a ready made group of ladies to play golf with when you feel ready. You will learn golf in a relaxed environment at a pace to suit you, FREE LADIES COFFEE MORNINGS/ TASTERS If you are not sure golf is for you, why not come along to one of our periodic taster sessions. In these, over the course of an hour and a half, you will get an introduction to golf and what learning golf will entail. You will get a chance to try golf for yourself without committing to a course of lessons, at the same time as meeting new people. This is a no obligation opportunity to try golf for free. You can ask our PGA Golf Professional, Simon Lucas, any questions you may have, and if you like golf, discuss tuition times and options. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS You may prefer to have one to one tuition, particularly if you are an experienced golfer. We can give you help on a one off basis or we can offer you a course of lessons with a structured practice/lesson program to maximise your progress. If you require, we can use the latest computer and video technology and provide you with a DVD of your golf lesson to take away. PLAYING ON THE COURSE In general we aim to get you out on the course and actually playing golf within a few weeks of starting. Here at Ashton Golf Centre our golf course is ideally suited to getting you on the road to really enjoying your new hobby. Although the holes are challenging, within a month or so, of actual playing you will have progressed to play from the normal length tees. Playing golf is all about confidence and that’s what our coaching will give you. WHAT ABOUT GOLF EQUIPMENT? Don’t worry about that. We will provide everything you will need. All you need to do is turn up with flat soled shoes or trainers and you are in business. You can borrow all your equipment from us during the duration of your lessons and when you come to practice. This gives you the opportunity to get going gradually without too much of an outlay. Should you decide you want your own set of clubs, we can source any set of clubs for you and you will be amazed at how inexpensive golf has become. GROUP LESSONS FOR EXPERIENCED LADY GOLFERS. If you have been playing golf for a while but are struggling with an area of your game, maybe, putting or bunkers, come to a group lesson on the topic of your choice. These lessons can be provided on request and will also be offered periodically throughout the year.
